I can say with confidence that absolutely none of the money from your taxes has been wasted making the graphics for The Enigmatic Abode, partly because it's not made by the government, and partly because... well, you'll see [subbed by Mystery].

Candy Room Escape & Cookie Room Escape are incredibly bad for your teeth [subbed by Cyberjar88].

Katydid And Ant 3 explores toast making, why the ducks crossed the road, and the underground caverns associated with hospitals... it's almost like I'm making random stuff up and writing it down for you, but really, they're all in there, and I haven't even mentioned mouse jockeys and rabbits, carrying flour, hanging from trees. The really worrying thing is though is that somehow these games are actually starting to make sense to me in a very, very, weird, but I must admit enjoyable, way [subbed by buji & charlie].

The first hurdle in playing Escape From 5th Door is where to find the game (hint: scroll down the page), but if you're having issues with that, lets face it, you're definitely going to have trouble escaping the room, so... erm... ahh... I'm having trouble escaping the room [subbed by charlie].

Sometimes What You See is what you get, and other times it's a little bit more complicated than that, as this little puzzle proves whilst carving out a whole new "point'n'read'n'click" niche of its own [via jayisgames].

So "Andy: Ancient Temple" is a point'n'click adventure where you explore an ancient temple, the goal is to find an ancient scroll, yada, yada, yada. But those of us in the know can ignore most of that. We're stuck next to the gong, franticly clicking, trying to earn our "Gong Bonger" achievement points. The Water Well is number 164 in the ongoing "you know you've played a lot of escape the room games when..." series, bringing us, as it does, the classic "you know you've played a lot of escape the room games when having a water well in a room seems perfectly normal to you". Alert students will notice the careful distinction here by the way: water well. Not an oil well, or any other kind of well, but a water well. Because, clearly, having any other sort of well in a room would just be ridiculous [subbed by buji].

I initially missed playing Small Worlds, but I'm happy to have made up for it now. It's as mellow a slice of loveliness as you could hope for, and never have I become so attached to so few pixels [subbed by anon & anticon].

In Porch Escape a little cat named Nyan (remember what we learnt about Nyan a couple of weeks ago?) has gotten himself locked out of the apartment after an exciting ball chasing escapade. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to break back into the apartment [subbed by Mantari].

As much as Laboratory Lockdown might sound like yet another day time game show for scientists presented by Alfonso Ribeiro, it is in actual fact one of those escape the room thingamajigs that we all enjoy so much [subbed by charlie & anon].
