Catapult To Krustyland may be is a shameless rip off of other catapulting style games (and I think it would even admit that), but flinging things Simpsons style has the kind of appeal I enjoy. In "Where To Go?" you have to find the "right path" for a little cat like creature to follow though a series of binary choices with amusing consequences if you pick the wrong path. Which is good as it gives you something nice to look at when it goes wrong. And it will go wrong, oh yes - it will. Especially once you realize that the "right path" seems to randomly change each time you play, so you can't even "learn" the game. Frustration ahoy!

Before playing Around The World In 80 Days let me warn you that this game really really wants you to buy the download-able full version of the game, with multiple opportunities given to fork out your cash every few minutes. If that kind of thing annoys you don't even bother clicking the link. I have the patience of a saint but it even started to annoy me.

Anyway, if you can put up with the download intrusions (keep pressing 'play' rather than 'download') there is actually a lot to play for free online in the game, and it's an addictive little arcade block swapping game in which you try and free various items trapped in each level. And when I say addictive, I mean it. I couldn't tear myself away. But if you do have to leave for a while for something relatively unimportant like eating or sleeping, it remembers where you were, which is a nice touch. It even has a storyline (Phileas Fogg, blah, blah ,blah), but that is a little incidental to the whole thing.

Of course ultimately you'll end up swearing out loud as the free version ends "mid game", and you'll want to play more, but maybe you'll actually buy the thing? Or maybe you'll be like me and move on to the next free game, and spend that money saved on a couple of six packs. Enjoy, either way. *hic*

Whilst the premise of Rich Man is easy to understand, it's a simple case of "spot the difference" with some rather cute graphics, the name is a little incomprehensible. Why "Rich Man"? What's up with that? Although it does give me the opportunity for a little sing-a-long which I always enjoy... *ahem*: "If I were a rich man. Yubby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dum..." Button Hunt 2 is an ideal practice arena for absent minded tailors and possibly point'n'click fans [subbed by Sup-Man & Crymoon].

Happy is very aptly named. Aptly named if randomly clicking around a game whilst Japanese text you can't read appears in front of you makes you happy that is. If, however, it takes tequila to make you happy, you might want to skip this one [subbed by JhInG].
